We are now offering a new solution to pathogen detection in UTIs, Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction for Urinary Tract Microbiota (qPCR).

Using the latest molecular biology techniques and methods, Pure Diagnostic is able to use the genetic material of the pathogen (DNA, RNA) to accurately identify the species of the pathogen and to detect resistance genes expressed by the pathogen to certain pharmacotherapies. Verification data demonstrates qPCR is over 25% more accurate when compared to traditional culture-based methods to detection.
